Rotomill Patching
A skid steer with a rotomill attachment grinds out the damaged asphalt. It is picked up and hauled away for recycling. The surface is swept and cleaned with forced air. Tack oil is applied to the mating surfaces. New “Hot Mix” asphalt is placed and mechanically compacted, forming a very strong patch at a reasonable price.
Full Depth Patching
Remove and Replace
The damaged asphalt is mechanically removed to the existing base. It is then hauled away for recycling. The base is inspected, leveled, and compacted. New “Hot Mix” asphalt is placed and compacted in 2” lifts. While this process is more expensive, it is the strongest form of asphalt patching we offer.
